開通·Utilities & Internet

Lights on, water running, Wi-Fi working.

Getting a house in Japan connected means Japanese phone calls, application forms and someone at the property to let the gas engineer in. We do all of it, so the house is ready when you or your guests arrive.

特長·What you get

Why owners choose us for utilities & internet setup.

  • Electricity, gas and water

Contracts opened in your name with the right providers, and someone on site for the gas safety check.

  • Internet that works

Fibre where it reaches, Starlink where it doesn't — installed, set up and tested before you arrive.

  • Bills handled

Statements translated and, if you like, paid for you each month and shown in your dashboard.

内容·What's included

Utilities & internet setup — questions

Can utilities in Japan be set up from abroad?
Yes, with someone local to do it. The applications are in Japanese, some providers want a Japanese phone number, and gas can only be opened with someone at the property for the safety check. We handle all of that and send you photos of the meters on the day.
How long does internet take to install?
Fibre can take anywhere from a couple of weeks to a couple of months, depending on the area and whether the line already reaches the house. In rural places without fibre, Starlink is usually the fastest option — we can have it running in days.
Should I keep the utilities on when the house is empty?
Usually yes — basic electricity keeps dehumidifiers and cameras running, and we need water to check for leaks. In cold areas we drain the water system in winter so the pipes can't freeze. We'll suggest what makes sense for your house.
