富山Hokuriku
Toyama is framed by the Tateyama range rising almost directly behind Toyama Bay, so you can see snowy peaks from the coast. Owners here tend to hold large inherited family homes on the Tonami plain, old merchant houses in Takaoka, or a quiet retreat near the Gokayama gassho villages, all reachable on the Hokuriku Shinkansen.
The climate is wet year-round and winters bring heavy, damp snow, which hits big timber houses hard when nobody lives in them. MonoHaus keeps these homes ventilated, watched and repaired with local carpenters, and explains every Japanese notice and invoice in English.

地域の特徴Local know-how
The Tonami plain's scattered homesteads are surrounded by windbreak trees, and the houses themselves are large. We handle tree pruning and gutter clearing, and we open up rooms that have been shut for years so they don't trap damp.
Toyama's heavy, water-laden snow and frequent rain are hard on roofs and sills. We check tiles, valleys and downpipes before winter and look for leaks and rot as soon as it melts.
