Nagasaki is a prefecture of harbours, hillsides and islands: the port city climbing up its steep valley, Sasebo and Hirado on the northwest coast, the Shimabara Peninsula beneath Mount Unzen, and the Goto Islands far out to the west. MonoHaus manages Nagasaki homes for international owners, many of them family properties passed down across generations abroad.
Owning here often means owning something hard to reach — a house up a stairway lane with no road access, or a fisherman's home that is a ferry ride from the mainland. We arrange the regular visits, airing and repairs these homes need, and report back in English.

地域の特徴Local know-how
Houses on the Goto Islands and other outlying islands are at the mercy of sea weather and ferry schedules. We plan inspections and contractor work around crossings, and watch closely for salt damage and storm wear.
Many Nagasaki city homes can only be reached on foot. Repairs mean carrying materials up steps, so we find local trades used to this terrain and keep an eye on retaining walls and drainage after heavy rain.
