別府Kyushu
Beppu breathes steam: columns of it rise from vents across the hillsides of Kannawa, and the city's eight onsen districts, the Beppu Hatto, supply hot water to bathhouses, ryokan and private homes alike. An international university and a steady stream of visitors give the town a mixed, outward-looking feel, and MonoHaus manages Beppu property for owners abroad, in English.
Owning a house with its own hot-spring tap is part of Beppu's appeal, but the water and air take their toll. Sulfur blackens copper and silver fittings, wears out electronics and corrodes metal, while mineral deposits slowly narrow the pipes.

地域の特徴Local know-how
We check onsen piping, valves and water heaters, watch for corroded metal and failing appliances, and bring in local plumbers who work on hot-spring systems — not general contractors learning on your house.
Hot-spring supply often comes with its own rights and fees. We help you read the Japanese paperwork, manage guest or student rentals, and advise on minpaku and short-term rental licensing.
