福島Tohoku
Fukushima is one of Japan's largest prefectures and divides into three distinct areas: snowy Aizu in the west with its castle town and the thatched post town of Ouchi-juku, the Nakadori corridor of Koriyama and Fukushima City, and the Pacific coast of Hamadori. Lake Inawashiro, Mount Bandai and the peach and fruit orchards bring visitors back year after year.
Many overseas owners of property here inherited a family house, while others bought into the ski and onsen areas around Bandai. MonoHaus provides inspections, seasonal care and English-language handling of Japanese paperwork across the prefecture, and the Tohoku Shinkansen runs directly through Nakadori.

地域の特徴Local know-how
Aizu gets heavy Japan Sea-style snow, Nakadori has hot summers and colder, drier winters, and the coast is milder. We work out each property's seasonal schedule from where it actually stands.
Some owners ask about the 2011 nuclear accident, whose evacuation orders applied to specific areas of the Hamadori coast. We point you to official national and prefectural information and focus our own work on caring for your home.
